Games and rules

Which rules can I play?

Throw-in and transfer Durak, with 24, 36 or 52 cards and 2 to 6 players (24 cards: up to 4). In your own room you also choose the turn time, draws, whether only neighbours can throw in (4 players or more) and whether the room is private.

How do I start a game?

On the home screen: Quick match finds opponents or a free seat at a table in an open room, Open rooms lists tables waiting for players, Create room lets you set the rules and invite friends, and you can join a friend’s room by its code.

What are stakes and how are winnings split?

Every player puts the same stake of coins into the pot when the cards are dealt. The durak loses the stake, and the pot is shared among the other players. In a draw everyone gets the stake back. Higher stakes unlock as your level grows. In quick match the stake you choose is the most you pay: a table may have a lower one.

What happens if I run out of time on my turn?

The game makes a move for you. On the third missed turn in a game you lose it as the durak.

My connection dropped. What now?

You have 60 seconds away from the table for the whole game: open the game and tap Back to the table on the home screen. Once they run out, the game ends for everyone and you lose it as the durak: your stake and ELO.

What happens if I leave a game?

The game ends for everyone and you lose it as the durak: you lose your stake and ELO and get no XP, and the others share your stake. Leaving often pauses quick match for 10 or 30 minutes.

How does ELO work?

Everyone starts at 1200. After each game the durak loses rating and the others gain: more for beating stronger players, less at bigger tables, and more in your first 20 games. The full formula is in the Terms of Use. Quick match pairs you with players of a similar rating.

How do levels work?

Each finished game gives 20 XP, plus 10 if you were not the durak. Leaving a game gives no XP for it. Every new level gives coins, and some levels also give crystals and items.

Someone is cheating or rude. What can I do?

Tap the player, choose Report and pick the reason. You can also block them: then they can no longer send you requests, invites or reactions.

Purchases and currency

What are coins and crystals?

Coins are for stakes and some items. Crystals are for premium items and offers, and can be exchanged for coins. Neither has monetary value.

How do I get coins for free?

Collect the daily reward, level up, unlock achievements and watch videos in the store. If you have fewer than 50 coins, are not in a game and have no daily reward or crystals left to exchange, you can claim help once a day.

How do video rewards work?

Up to 5 videos a day: the first four give 150 coins each, the fifth gives 5 crystals. Three are ready at once, then one more every 30 minutes. The count resets at midnight UTC.

Can I exchange crystals for coins?

Yes, in the store. The exchange is one way: coins cannot be turned into crystals.

I paid but didn’t get my purchase

Restart the game with the internet on: the purchase is delivered once the store confirms it. If it still has not arrived, write to support and attach the order number from the App Store or Google Play receipt.

How do I get a refund?

Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds are requested from them: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or the Google Play order history. Crystals and items from a refunded purchase are removed.

Can I give coins or items to a friend?

No. Coins, crystals and items belong to your account and cannot be transferred.
